@hutaffe I thought exactly the same, but now I'm moving more and more in there. It is very similar to TiddlyWiki, esp. enhanced by Stroll which gives you backlinks and some UX improvements. It's still way harder and clunkier to use than Roam itself.

It's the combination of backlinks, a good working outliner, markdown, and the possibility to link not only on a page, but even down to inside a bullet level.

It's hard to explain for me, but @macsparky did a good job in the current Mac Power Users episode (link goes to the section).
